Fundamentals 2 LEAD: Elements
Modular Learning Structure and Resources
The program’s curriculum provides a series of sessions aligned to the module’s theme.
Leaders achieve success through their ongoing commitment to LEAD: Learn, Engage, Act, and Develop.

This learner-centered, cohort-based program includes two 3-day training sessions scheduled six months apart.
The curriculum for Part 1 and Part 2 provides a comprehensive series of sessions aligned to relevant leadership themes and topics for insight-based discovery, engagement, collaboration, and reflection to support continuous learning and facilitate growth.
Self-Assessments
Four assessment instruments are included in the program. Specific instructions will be provided so leaders are prepared for each training module.
The Gallup Clifton Strengths for Leaders self-assessment explores participant’s innate leadership talent and how to leverage talent to accomplish goals and build strengths-based teams.
The Change Catalyst Change Leader, Change Intelligence (CQ) self-assessment describes different approaches leaders take when leading through change. It reveals strengths and blind spots for each Change Style and how to communicate and provide feedback during change processes.
The Kouzes and Posner Leadership Practices Inventory, LPI 360 is an assessment taken by each participant and their selected Observers. This assessment was developed to measure the frequency of leadership behaviors based on the Five Exemplary Leadership Practices Model.
The Wiley Everything DiSC Workplace self-assessment describes a variety of behavioral priorities, preferences, and tendencies in the workplace. It identifies motivators and stressors for each style, as well as communication strategies for proactive responses and mitigating conflict.
Coaching
Personalized coaching sessions are included for individualized support and deeper insight-based learning. Coaching sessions are 45 minutes and scheduled directly with Rose Marie Sloan at thinkforward@ourleadershipjourney.com.
Additional Assessment
Additional assessment can be made available to meet the specific professional development needs of leaders and teams.
Interactive Forum
A monthly, virtual forum is available for ongoing engagement, discussion and support. Form details and dates are provided during the Part 1 program.
